Relevant Matters Regarding Leveling Machines

The leveling machine is equipped with an upper die and a lower die. The upper die is fixed to the push rod of a hydraulic cylinder, while the cylinder body is secured to a supporting frame. Independent cooling water channels are built into both the upper and lower dies, with their inlets and outlets located on top of the respective dies. Starting from the entry side of the leveling machine, the ratio of roll radius to center distance for at least the first five rolls is the same as that of traditional leveling machines. Furthermore, the ratio for at least the last five rolls is similar to that of a curl eliminator. Notably, the center distance between the intermediate rolls of the leveling machine is increased.

This design allows for rapid quenching and cooling while preventing impurities from eroding the cutting tools or tool blanks. Consequently, it ensures the quality of the surface and hardness metallographic structure of the tools, and avoids contamination of the cooling oil.
